Vinous Neal Martin - 05 Jan 23
The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a well-defined bouquet with dark berry fruit, touches of wilted iris flower and incense. Very attractive. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine acidity, but it attenuates a littles towards the finish. Fine sapidity, but just missing a bit of flair.

Chambolle-Musigny Vineyard Fine Wine

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
